On call emergency service
If you’re living independently, support from a qualified Disability Support Worker is only a phone call away. Sometimes the emergency is simple and can be dealt with over the phone. Other times someone may need to be alerted to provide you with in-home assistance.
“I cut my finger”. “I don’t feel well”. “I had to get up to go to the toilet and I had an accident”. “The air conditioner is not working”. “I put the washing machine on and water went everywhere”…
…whatever the emergency, you can be sure there is always someone who knows you and your living arrangements, and can provide advice, support or someone to talk to.
Some people require special assistance with their food and meals, which is not covered by another service. For example, you might need someone to help you with daily portion controls. We can help you prepare meals, and then store them safely and arrange for you to have them one day at a time. Or you may need your meals prepared for you and brought to you. Talk to us if you require support in preparing your meals.
